Pucks Player Profile: Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond

Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond first appeared on the Capital Region’s professional hockey scene  playing parts of the 2005-06 season with the old Adirondack Frostbite of the UHL and Albany River Rats in the AHL.  Between the two stops he developed a reputation as a bad boy with 295 PIM.

After starting the season with the NHL New Jersey Devils and racking up 21 PIM in just two games, Leblond is back in Albany where he leads the AHL Albany Devils in PIM with 74.

In his most recent heavyweight tilt at home, Leblond virtually dominated one-time Albany River Rat, now Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins enforcer Jesse Boulerice.

Featured below is an epic marathon fight between former Devils and River Rats teammates Leblond and Cam Janssen (now of the St. Louis Blues) going at it in New Jersey.
