In NHL Nightly Notables we start in Nashville, where former Albany River Rats forward Steve Sullivan’s shootout goal was the difference in a 4-3 Predators win in Columbus over the Blue Jackets.  Sullivan who has 43 points in 44 career games against Columbus beat goalie Steve Mason for the difference maker.

Other AHL notables: Former Albany River Rats forward Dan DaDasilva picked up an assist and had the game winning shootout goal for the Worcester Sharks as they beat the Connecticut Whale 2-1 in Worcester.  Locals Nick Petrecki and Jay Leach also suited up for the Sharks, with Petrecki recording two shots on goal and Leach being a +1.

Former Albany River Rats goalie Tyler Weiman made 14 saves but yielded five goals, as the Manitoba Moose dropped a 6-3 decision to the Milwaukee Admirals.  Weiman posted 27 wins during the 2006-07 campaign for Albany and has five wins this year with a GAA of 2.75 for the Moose.
