Empire State Cup Standings Games Ending December 19, 2010

There are five AHL clubs in New York State, the most of any state in the league.  Those five teams vying for the 2010-11 Empire State Cup are: Adirondack Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers), Albany Devils (New Jersey Devils), Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators), Rochester Americans (Florida Panthers) and Syracuse Crunch (Anaheim Ducks).  The records below indicate the head-to-head standings between the five thus far this season.

Most Recent Update: December 19, 2010 @ Rochester: Binghamton Senators 3 Rochester Americans 2.  Theres’s a new team atop the Empire State Cup Standings leaderboard and at the end of an impressive weekend, it’s the Binghamton Senators.  Coming off a 7-0 drubbing of the Syracuse Crunch on Friday, the Senators brought their show on the road to Rochester on Sunday.  A huge three goal output in the first, capped off by former Albany River Rats defenseman David Hale was all the B-Sens needed to hold off the Amerks.
