Bears Power Past Devils

The night was hard fought but all for naught for the Albany Devils in their 5-3 loss to the Hershey Bears.  Albany twice had one goal leads on scores from Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond (1) and Chad Wiseman (6) in the first and second but Hershey took advantage of the extra-man advantage, going three for five on the power-play.

In fact every Albany goal was followed by a Hershey power-play tally.

Down 3-2 headed into the third, Captain Stephen Gionta squared things at 3-3 with the third period just over a minute old with his eighth of the year.  However like I said, the Bears ultimately answered back on the power-play.  Brian Willsie who gave the Bears the lead in the second, got the lead back for the Bears at 4-3 and it was a lead they’d never give back.

The Bears tacked on an empty net goal to put the final out of question 5-3.

Conversley the Devils finished 0-4 on the power-play.
