Empire State Cup Standings Games Ending February 20, 2011

There are five AHL clubs in New York State, the most of any state in the league.  Those five teams vying for the 2010-11 Empire State Cup are: Adirondack Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers), Albany Devils (New Jersey Devils), Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators), Rochester Americans (Florida Panthers) and Syracuse Crunch (Anaheim Ducks).  The records below indicate the head-to-head standings between the five thus far this season.

Most Recent Update: February 20, 2011 @ Albany.  Albany 4 Adirondack 3 in SO.  Adam Henrique’s shootout tally coupled with Dave Caruso turning away all five shootout attempts he faced was more than good enough to help the Devils defeat the Phantoms 4-3.  PL3 knocked Matt Clackson into next Tuesday and scored a goal for the Devils.  Danny Syvret posted two goals for the Phantoms in regulation.  Albany now has points in five of their last six games overall. 

1.) 13-6-0-1 (27 points).

2.)10-7-0-2 (22 points).

3.) 10-7-1-1 (22 points).

4.) 10-9-0-1 (21 points).

5.)  6-15-0-1 (13 points).
